Dr. Robin Goldstein

name Dr. Robin Goldstein is a licensed psychologist with a Doctorate in Counseling from Boston University.

She earned a BA cum laude in psychology from Boston University and a Masters in
Counseling from the University of Miami. She treats adults, couples, adolescents and the elderly.

Her work employs an active, empowering approach that is geared toward breaking
dysfunctional patterns, increasing self understanding and maximizing growth and
strength. She uses a blend of approaches to derive the greatest benefit, tailoring the approach to the individual. Her extensive experience allows her to accurately and quickly assess the problem and develop an effective approach.

Dr. Goldstein has worked in a variety
of settings over the years. At the beginning of her career she was the clinical director of a small treatment center for adolescents and later was the head clinician for Bonnie Brae Residential Treatment Center in New Jersey, housing 200 adolescents with a wide range of problems. In Florida, she consulted to Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital in Rockledge, FL to design and set up their first adolescent psychiatric unit. Adolescents and young adults are still a primary specialty area in which she concentrates.

For the past 27 years she has been in private practice in Florida, recently
relocating to Boca Raton. She has consulted to physicians, hospitals and nursing homes.

She is a frequent lecturer on divorce recovery and has also lectured on stress and time management, insomnia, sexuality, eating disorders and chronic pain.

Dr. Goldstein is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Florida Psychological Association.
